Today was so much fun!
You should have some very tired Kindergarten Children coming home. There are many rules and procedures for them to learn these first few weeks to be a successful learner at Carpenter Hill and for life. Today we learned how to:
sit on the carpet
walk in the line
use the hallway and classroom bathrooms including the sinks and paper towels
push in our chairs
put items in our mailboxes
take items from our mailboxes and put into folders
cafe expectations
playground safety rules
how to walk in a line in the hallway
how to be a listener on the carpet
how to pack up our backpacks
This morning our class went to Music and met Mrs. Gandy. Tomorrow they will go to P.E. and meet our fun coaches. Students need to wear athletic shoes on P.E. days.
I'm sure you may have a million questions. I highly encourage you to come to our Kindergarten Kickoff on Wednesday Night.
