Math Talk

Have conversations at home been with math words being thrown into the mix. For example requests for a tissue from a rectangular prism, request to eat an orange sphere, a rectangular prism  sandwich or a cylinder Oreo?

We have been using and talking a lot about 3D shapes and their properties.
The shapes we've spent time exploring have been: sphere, rectangular prism, cube, cylinder and cone.
Properties we discuss are faces (sides), edges and vertices (points).
