I love my ____ shoes.

Today we stretched our sounds to write an item that Pete the Cat stepped in which changed his shoes.

We first wrote what color his shoes would change. Then we drew an item of that color. Finally we S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-D our sounds to write down the letter we hear. This of course is difficult, but we must start somewhere. See below to see what changed Pete's shoes a different color.
