Balanced Literacy Training

Students are always amazed to that their teachers go to class. Well that is what me and other Kinder-1st-2nd  grade teachers did today. Our school district is requiring all teachers K-5 to attend a district sponsored Balanced Literacy Training. I think the main purpose was to ensure classrooms and schools across our district to ensure a common language being spoken, so it was a good refresher for all who attended in my opinion to help ensure such vocabulary and understanding and offer a refresher or reminders of what is needed to for students.
